Michael (Miz) as everyone knows me as has been a licensed Cosmetologist since May of 1993. I have worked and managed at several Barber Shops in the AC area- International Unisex Salon, The famous -Sonny’s Unisex Salon and Dave’s Hair Bizarre. And now The Preferred Style!
Myron Von Lively (AKA) Reece the barber, was born in the little shore town of Ocean City Nj. Spent his adolescent yrs in the nearby inland town of Somers Point Nj. Graduating from Mainland Regional HS. And then was discovered by the late Omar Anderson who suggested he attend a Cosmetology course at Atlantic County Vocational School in Mayslanding Nj. He took his newly found talent back to his born town where he honed his skills on his family members & friends and the rest is history still in the making.
Vanessa Mitchell is the founder of VMitchellHair and has operated at The Preferred Style since its grand opening. She is also a licensed cosmetologist and has been working in the Atlantic City area since 2014 and has put her mark on hair care in the Atlantic County area. Specializing in clipper cutting, scissor cutting, and locs maintenance she has been a force to be reckoned with in the hair care industry. Being able to work with all hair types from fine to natural hair and identifying specific hair care needs for everyday clientele. Vanessa volunteers her services to local and charitable events and looks forward to meeting hair care needs across the tri-state area. With her up-and-coming social media presence, she desires to expand to hair care around the world
